I agree with Petra. And I love the SD900. It could be as satisfied with the new SD850 IS. This is a smaller sensor, but the "is" is a valid which really helps. I think the SD900 is still on top. It has 10 MP and is the only SD has the largest 1/1.8 "sensor, which is almost twice as big as a sensor in one of the other SD cameras. This usually results in better image quality with low noise. I have many digital cameras now, and many others have in the past owned so I have a lot of experience with different brands and models and offer lots of tips based on my own experiences. Let me tell you a little about my current favorites, if you are looking for a digital camera, but have no idea to begin where to look.

I admit it, I am a Canon girl. I have had several other brands of digital cameras, but I'm happy with my Canon was. I now own a Canon Digital Rebel SLR cameras and several lenses, Canon Powershot Elph (SD 110), and a Powershot (SD850 IS), Elph, and two Panasonic and Sony.

About a year ago, I bought the Powershot (SD850 IS) Elph. It was love at first photo. This is not only compact digital camera and super easy to use, but the images excellent. I love to take the opportunity to video, did not have my Canon Rebel. The SD850 IS is easy, but not weak. Furthermore, fits in my small purse and pockets of my jeans, which is nice. And the improvements over my older (but still good) Canon Elph 110 are impressive.
