Panasonic announced it has updated both the FS and LS for the cameras.
FS range has three new cameras, the DMC-FS15, FS6 and FS7. Starting from the FS15, Panasonic, giving a wide angle lens 12.1MP snapper, which allows shooting at higher angles, Intelligent Auto mode, which means most of their drink problems(red eye, image unstable and exposure) and 2.7-inch LCD to view photo taking skills.
The camera uses a Panasonic Venus Engine IV, which gives a fast response time cam image and allows up to 5.5 pictures per second.
There is also the ability to record movies in-camera format WVGA.
DMC-DMC-FS6 and FS7
Two other cameras are FS Series FS6 and FS7. F6 8.1MP Sports F2.8 Leica DC lens, which is able to 4x zoom and uses the Panasonic Venus Engine IV, to help make sure that the pictures taken are as good as they can be. This means that photos can be taken at short intervals? The latter three C-mode, and preferably about 5.5 seconds in the lower grade.
FS7 is similar, but the spec homes 10.1MP sensor, and slightly less time-shot burst only two seconds.
Both cameras are equipped with an LCD screen(2.5 inch to 2.7-FS6 and FS7-inch) and are available in many colors, including silver, black and pink.
DMC-LS85
LS series of single-camera 8.1MP sensor, Intelligent Auto, and is equipped with high quality f2.8 Lumix DC Vario lens.
As with all cameras mentioned, the Panasonic Venus Engine IV is included, and that means rates shot is faster than ever.
Panasonic cameras will be in March, with prices yet to be announced.

There are no settings to use. The video records what it records.
You may get black lines running through your video. That's because of the frame rate difference between the two - no way to avoid it if there is a difference.

I've read on the Internet that independent digital camera surveys gave high ranking to Panasonic cameras. I could drive to the department store and face traffic, crowds, lines, possibly bad customer service and all the stress associated with it. Department stores have limited inventories and they also might be out of the brand I am looking for. I would have to drive to another store, which means spending more time and gas. Or I could shop online which could spare me the stress mentioned above. Bad weather outside -- rain or snow -- wouldn't matter if I am in my warm, cozy home and I can shop in pajamas if I want to. Online I can shop at the hours the department store is closed at. E-commerce uses large warehouses to store products so they are most likely to have the camera in stock. I don't need to get the feel for the camera -- what I see on the picture is what I get and on the seller's site I can read reviews of other customers who have used the camera. As far as getting the best deal on the price online stores offer lower prices, because they don't have the same overhead costs as department stores do. In brick and mortar stores you don't have to pay for shipping. On the net some sellers charge shipping, some don't. If I look around on the net I can find the site that offers free shipping. The only drawback is that I will have to wait a week or so for the camera to be shipped to my home. But I don't mind waiting for the sake of the convenience.
