Fujifilm FinePix S1800 12 MP Digital Camera with 18x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 3-Inch LCD Reviews

Review by Ralph C. Browne: 4 Fujifilm FinePix S1800 12 MP Digital Camera with 18x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 Inch LCD
416TF HFtYL. SL75 Fujifilm FinePix S1800 12 MP Digital Camera with 18x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 Inch LCDIf you are one of those digital camera users who want some of the high end features of an SLR without the big price tag this might be right for you. It is so new hardly anyone knows it is slowly coming out on the market. Got mine at a special launch on HSN. Though there have been mixed reviews as to how good it is I don't have any complaints. Like zoom capability? The Fuji S-18 has as much as anyone practically needs. My only knock is you have use a tripod when using full zoom power unless you have a steady hand. The super Macro feature is great too if you like getting things really close up. Amazing resolution overall. The 3 inch LCD is nice but like all LCDs is hampered in bright light conditions, super sunny days. Thats where the good old Standard View finder comes in handy. It is better than most and works great in all conditions, even if you have wear glasses like me. Indoors or on less sunny days the LCD is just fine. There are a lot of really great features that are easy to use and figure out even if you don't ever read the operation manual you can upload on to your computer. Good all around product if you are looking for an upgrade or even a first time buyer. At the price point it sells for you get a lot of camera for a very good price. Though it uses AA batteries, alchaline or rechargables, and they seem to last a long time. Got a great little battery from Amazon that brings your batteries back to life in almost no time at home or on the road. You don't have to worry about fidling around with your camera settings and killing your batteries befor you take a picture....like me. Check it out. Nice camera based on Fugi's S-15 with a couple of extras thrown in. Recommended!
Review by TRFB: 4 Fujifilm FinePix S1800 12 MP Digital Camera with 18x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 Inch LCD
416TF HFtYL. SL75 Fujifilm FinePix S1800 12 MP Digital Camera with 18x Wide Angle Optical Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 Inch LCDI am an amatuer photographer. This is my second camera I own. I own the Sony Cybershot DSC-P5 which was a great camera back in the days. But the FujiFilm S1800 is far beyond the Sony Cybershot. This camera is a 12 Megapixel camera capable of shooting panorama pictures right from the camera. There are a lot of features besides this. I'm not a fan of Optical Zoom, but this camera handles it well. There are many custom settings based on the situation. Scenic, Portrait, Nightime, Sports. It also allows you to shoot continues frames as well. There are a few different options within the continuous frame mode itself.

It also shoots 640p movies. Depending on the amount of SDHC memory you can shoot up to 30 minutes worth of video. At the largest files and resolution.

The camera has a great feature for face recognition and also blink detection. Which alerts you when the camera thinks that the person blinked. You have the option to re-shoot.

I like the fact that you can do a panormaic shot up to three panels and the camera will "stitch" the picture for you right from the camera. Many other cameras rely on you to do this with the software, but you can do it right from the camera.

The best thing is that this camera runs on regular AA alkaline batteries, or other types that size and not these batteries that are hard to find or need to be recharged. You can use AA rechargeable batteries, but if not, the good old AA Alkaline will work. My mother has a camera that she can't find batteries for because they no longer make them. I'm so happy that this camera is not like that.

The things that I thought would've been nice is a better lens cap. It comes off very easily. The other thing I wish it would do is automatically pop the "Flash" hood up for you if the lighting is not enough and the mode is set where you need light. One of the Canon pictures I use at work, actually opens the hood for the flash when it detects that there needs a flash. With the Fuji S1800 you need to press the button to open the hood.

The other issue I have is that I wish it would include at least a 2 MB SD memory card. You're very limited with the amout of pictures you can take with the Internal memory.

The software was easy to install and you can download the pictures/videos right to your computer and edit them with your favorite software.

This is a pretty good camera and I'm pretty satisified with.

How to fix Canon Powershot SD1100 IS?

Alright so my camera broke a couple days ago, the lens wouldn't retract and it made a buzzing noise. I tried fixing it... and it broke more, this cap thing fell off and I couldn't seem to get it back on. A few hours ago I actually "fixed" it for real, and the lens now retracts like before, the issue is the cap still won't get back. Here's a picture of what it looks like right now.

http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/4019/photoon20090902at2052.jpg

It's like the place for the cap works it just wont..."snap" like I expect it to... is there more to it? Should I glue it? Help please!

Since you are not a trained camera repair person, the more you fool around with that camera, the worse it will get. Call Canon at 800-OK-CANON and see if they can fix it for you. It probably won't be cheap.

Top 10 Photo Recovery Tips

1. The Golden Rule – Back Up Your Digital Photos Frequently

Perhaps you have a capacious memory card. Maybe you simply trust the technology of your latest digital gizmo to forever shield your data from harm. But accidents can happen any time on any device. So back up all critical files!

You can burn your pictures onto a DVD, upload them to a hard drive, or upload them to an online storage service. In some cases, you can even upload your key pictures and files to other digital devices. Make a habit of uploading photos every time you return from an important trip or event (a wedding, vacation, graduation). Archive and label your favorite photos, and make hard copies of the pictures you enjoy the most.

2. After Data Loss, Immediate Stop Using Your Digital Camera

Digital media devices typically have back up components to prevent complete data loss. But once a camera or device has proven defective, you should cease using it and get it checked out. If you continue to take photos, the device can actually overwrite your old photos, causing you to lose even more data and confounding your situation further.

3. Do Not Attempt to Format or Initialize Your Media

Some cameras or digital media devices will ask you to reformat your memory card in the wake of an accident or a data loss event. Avoid this! If you reformat, you may actually write over some of the data that may be recoverable. Furthermore, reformatting may not solve the problem that led to the data snafu in the first place.

4. Do Not Try to Open Your Device

While it is tempting to go into “fix-it” mode and aggressively scan components for damage, opening a sealed digital device can damage it and erase data stored on any memory cards that are inserted. There is absolutely no reason to crack open your device, especially with a memory card in the slot, since there are zero moving parts inside. In addition, the inner circuits of your device are very sensitive.

5. Do Not Expose Your Digital Media to Extreme Temperatures

Most cameras can work proper across a relatively wide temperature range. The typical digital media device can function from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and store information securely from negative 20 degrees to 85 degrees Celsius. However, it is surprisingly easy to exceed these limits and damage your data. If, for instance, you leave your camera in direct sunlight on a hot day on a car dashboard, you may actually fry key electrical components.

Conversely, if you leave your camera in a glove compartment during a brutal winter cold snap, you can also lose data. As general rule, don’t test the limits of your device’s temperament.

6. Keep Your Media Card Away from Strong Magnetic Fields

Strong fields can erase, scramble, or otherwise skew the formatting of the data you keep on your media card. Just as you don’t expose the magnetic stripes on the back of your credit cards to magnetic fields, don’t expose your digital media device to a strong magnetic or radioactive field.

7. Store Your Digital Media and Your Camera in a Padded Case

It is all too easy to drop and damage a camera. Even if you are religious about wearing your protective straps and replacing your lens cap after use, you can never be too careful in your quest to prevent shock damage.

8. Use Photo Recovery Software Services to Get Your Files Back

Even if you have lost significant data, all hope is not necessarily lost. Top-rated software (or recovery services) may be able to retrieve seemingly unrecoverable data files. You may want to have a professional do this work for you, but be apprised that professional data recovery can run you a pretty penny. If you can attempt a software recovery on your own, your pocketbook will thank you.

9. After Your Files Have Been Recovered, “Wipe” the Media Card

Don’t allow old, fragmented data to gum up your media card. Get a fresh start, and keep your card clean by uploading pictures after any serious photo taking sessions (see rule number 1).

10. Be Cautious!

Learn about your camera’s functions and how data gets stored on your memory card. Your manual should provide detailed sections discussing formatting and initialization issues as well as how to properly delete single frames (without deleting all the other data on your card).

Rear Lens Cap

How do I remove the rear lens cap from a Canon lens?

Someone has donated a 135mm f2.8 Vivitar short telephoto lens to a charity shop that I have been helping at. The lens has a canon rear lens cap fitted so I assume it is a canon mount.
I tried to remove the cap to check the rear elements for fungus etc but it does not budge. I have tried a reasonable degree of force both anti clockwise and clockwise. I have also tried pushing and pulling for a bayonet type fitting. There are no obvious lugs or buttons and the lens mount looks like it has three bayonet slots that engage with a clockwise movement.
Can anyone help? I don't want to damage the lens and my reputation as the shops photographic equipment specialist is at stake.
Thanks.

You most likely have an older Canon FD mount lens (discontinued and replaced by the current EF series). To remove the rear lenscam, rotate the chrome ring at the base of the lens. When it rotates, it will unlock the cap. To replace the rear cap or to mount the lens on an older Canon camera, twist the chrome ring in the opposite direction.

Optoma Hd66 3D Hd Projector

Design
The Optoma HD66 HD projector weighs only five pounds and measures 7.6" x 11.3" x 4". It uses the 0.65 DMD DLP chipset by Texas Instruments, which implies that the Optoma HD66 operates without filters.  It has a brightness rating of 2500 ANSI lumens and a 4,000:1 contrast ratio.  HD66 is compatible with PCs and Macs, and supports video resolution up to 1080p.

Connections include HDMI, VGA-In, S-Video, Composite Video, Stereo Audio-In and RS232. The projector is designed in such a way that it can be used for either front or rear projection, and can be mounted on the ceiling or placed on a tabletop.  Inside, it includes a 2-watt speaker, and purchase comes with a remote, interconnect cables and other accessories. The system accepts video inputs for HDTV, EDTV, SDTV, NTSC, PAL and SECAM.

The Optoma HD66 is compatible with NVIDIA's 3D Vision Technology for the 3-dimensional effects. The technology involves the use of a computer with a new NVIDIA GeForce video card meant for 3D.  Combined with an image refreshing rate of 120Hz, HD66 is able to display alternating stereoscopic images to the left and right eyes at 60Hz rate each. When users wear 3D polarized eyeglasses, it synchronizes with the projector and users may enjoy smooth looking transitions.

Purchase includes a remote control with batteries, lens cap, an AC power cord, composite cable, multi-lingual CD-ROM User's manual, quick start card and an Optoma warranty card. For security purposes, there is also a Kensington lock port, a security bar and a keypad lock.

** While 3D projector is an interesting technology, users need to remember that a 3D source, 3D content and 3D glasses are required for viewing. Purchase does not come with a 3D glasses, hence users need to get active shutter glasses like NVidia's 3D Vision goggles.

Setting up and calibrating the Optoma HD66
The Optoma HD66 can be placed on a flat surface, or mounted on to the ceiling.  It can do either a front or rear projection.   The projector offers a single HDMI input and one basic stereo output for those who prefer external speakers.

The user manual is a good guide for the physical setup of the projector. There are clear illustrations. Instead of pure black and white manuals, there are color indications along with descriptions.

The operating menu is great with 23 language support. It has a simple, user friendly interface that makes navigations easy. The users' manual explains each segment clearly and there should be no problem with the configuration if users follow the manual well.

3D is supported at 1280 x 720 resolutions at best, and the 3D Sync. Invert function can only be used when 3D is enabled.  The 3D Sync. Invert is meant to correct the problem when users discover the inversion of the image depth.

Optoma HD projector also has a safety configuration in which the projector cannot be turned on if the lamp cover has not been placed back on the projector. There is also an auto shut down function to avoid overheating, and users may turn it on again after it cooled. In fact, when the lamp fails, the system will not turn on at all until the lamp is replaced.

Features
Optoma adopted the DLP technology from Texas Instruments, at the same time it also uses the BrilliantColor technology of the company.  The technology improves color reproduction, sharpness and depth of shade by 6-color spectral processing, of primary and secondary colors.

The projector is also capable of projecting bright images with 2500 ANSI lumens, and comes with high contrast ratio of 4,000:1.  The rapid power-on and shutdown helps users save time and money.

Meanwhile, the projector also boasts of showing off 3D images for high intensity gaming, up to 720p. It is compatible with both PC and Mac computers, supporting computer resolution as high as 1920 x 1080p.

Performance
While the system boasts of a 1080p resolution support, this works well only for two-dimensional contents, and it downscales the picture down to the native resolution of 720p.  For 3D contents, it can handle 720p, XGA (1024 x 788) and VGA (800 x 600).

Image is both bright and clear and the 3D effects are great when users view it through active-shutter glasses.  The minimum image size is 23" and maximum is 300". Users may prefer to use an external speaker than to use the integrated 2-watt speaker for better audio enjoyment.

Perhaps the best use of this projector is for gaming.  It lacks many qualities that truly qualify it as part of a home theater for movies, but with its 1080p computer resolution support, it will be good enough to keep gamers happy for hours, though of course users need to be aware of the heat and the lamp.  One may be frustrated if the projector suddenly turns itself off with the automatic detection to avoid overheating in the middle of a battle with some aliens.

Pros and Cons
Optoma HD66 is a simple 3D projector that supports up to 720p for gaming projections and 1080p for two-dimension contents. However, it downscales the 1080p to native resolution of 720p for projection.

The RS232 support means that the machine can be controlled by using other remotes, which helps the user minimize remote control clutters.

Conclusion
The Optoma HD66 is one of the cheapest high definition 3D projectors in the market for an average of USD700.  However, due to the price it asks for, it is not one of the best projectors. It may be more biased towards offering gaming experience, but as a home theater system for movies, there may still be a lot of catching up to do.

Why is New York Yankees ' Alex Rodriguez different from others who juiced?
Six hundred home runs soon. Seven hundred eventually. Maybe 800. How are you going to feel about all that? If A-Rod is different from the others who juiced - why is he? Because he can still do it, that's why. Forget about being the new Jack Nicklaus. Tige.

Using A Camcorder To Record Family Events Quickly And Easily

Using a Camcorder to Record Family Events Quickly and Easily

Let's start there (but not spend too much time on it because you are probably already checked out on their use):Visit Here http://top10camcordersinfo.blogspot.com

On/Off - On some brands you actually have to find two or three switches to accomplish this. You may be required to choose between camera and VCR or VTR, you may have to open shutters over the lens or remove a lens cap, and you may have choices about snapshots, locked, standby, or video. You're probably ready when you see a picture through the viewfinder with no unexpected icon flashing in the middle.

Zoom - Changes the lens setting from wide angle to telephoto. You see what's happening in the viewfinder.

Red "Take" button - Rolls the tape. Usually "REC" shows in the viewfinder when recording and "STDBY" shows when the tape is stopped.

Beyond that everything else is automated on most consumer camcorders. You only have to master all those other buttons if you want to take control of things like focus, exposure, shutter speed, color balance, stabilization, depth of field, freeze motion, volume, and tons of other special effects and titling. On most camcorders the default manufacturer settings are the place to start -- they've done a very good job taming all these options. You should only need to make changes for particular scenes when you see things going wrong. So let's not trail through all the buttons and menu options out there right now. Instead let's focus on you and all the problems you can create.

Let's examine other areas that separate the pros from the beginners. It's always said, and frequently demonstrated, that if you put the cheapest pile of junk camcorder in the hands of a pro, the resulting footage will look dazzling. It doesn't work the other way around. It's not the tools that separate the 8-year old baking her first cake from her grandmother -- it's lots of little things, some of which are hard and tedious to document, and some of which fall into discussions and hot arguments that might be lumped together under the category called "style."

Let's get you started with some of the obvious areas. As you shoot video you will naturally get competitive with and wonder why your footage doesn't measure up to the footage you see on TV and in the movies. This will cause you to start adding tricks to your trade consciously and unconsciously. Most of us are very critical viewers of TV and movies.

The first sign that there is a rank amateur running the camera comes when you realize it is being hand-held because the picture bounces around (and may actually make some viewers seasick, watch out!). The standard answer to this is to lug a tripod around with you. This is great if you are going to be positioned in the same place for more than three minutes filming a game or stage performance, but if you are zipping around like a fly on the wall you have to take other measures. Here are some:

Lean on things while filming to stabilize yourself. Find a tree, a wall, a table, a friend . . .

Take a deep breath and hold it. Dig your elbows into your inflated rib cage creating a triangular bracing system between the camcorder and your stable chest. Do not answer any questions thrown at you and stop filming before your whole body starts convulsing trying to purge the stale air.

Zoom out (going to a wide angle setting) and then move yourself and camera in close to the subject. Wide angle shots are much easier to hold steady. Zoomed in telephoto shots really need a good tripod.

Practice, practice, practice. While rolling tape, pick a stationary object near the corner of the viewfinder, lock in on it, and don't let it move around in the viewfinder. This turns your whole nervous and muscular system into a self-correcting stabilization machine. It becomes second nature if you work at it enough just as a waitress can carry a tray of drinks without spilling any.

Push the "take" button to stop rolling tape when you realize you are about to lose stability. You'd be surprised how many shots run until the cameraman bumps into something, loses concentration or literally falls off a step.

Be sure the camera's built-in motion stabilization feature is turned on. On some brands the stabilization feature reportedly snaps and jerks the picture too much as the camera is moved around. You'll hear that the feature should be turned off. Don't accept this advice as gospel -- play with it for a while first because this objection is true on only a small percentage of camcorders.

Don't dismiss using a small mono pod or very light portable tripod for those "on the go" shots. These won't serve you well when shooting a long event but may be just the ticket when moving around like a fly on the wall.

Another rule to consider is how long your shots should be. Watch TV and count how long their shots run. You'll notice that the average 30-second commercial may have 20 different shots. Pretty much the same with MTV. Now watch situation comedies and cops and robber stories -- maybe shots stay on 3 to 5 seconds. Follow up with slow running talk shows on PBS. Even there they switch the camera before 10 seconds have gone by.

Back when you were getting advice with your home camera movie film from Kodak, the advice they gave was to count to 7 and shut the shot down. They advised against lots of jerky short clips. While that was in a slower and more graceful period of time, it's still a rule to seriously consider. Tightly edited sales pitches, action packed movie clips and music videos may demand one to three second clips, but this is too fast for general family footage. We find that when people put photographs together in a video presentation, six seconds for each photo is about the right time.

On the other hand, you'll lose your audience if you make your shots too long. I can't tell you how many times I've seen shots of a baby being fed in its high chair that a proud parent lets roll for over a minute. It's equivalent to a 3-hour sermon in church or a filibuster in congress.

Even though you and I may have no interest in a "feed the baby" sequence unless we know the baby, it might keep our attention if broken up into multiple shots such as an establishing shot showing where we are, feed the baby, look at the mother, close up of the mess, close up of mother's stress, picture of baby wiggling feet in the air, mother leaning back in exhaustion . . . . All of this puts you the videographer to work. You have to move around and compose several shots telling a story. Some shots may be long, some short, but the overall impact is dramatically improved.

Closely related to this is rule #3: avoid "hunting" with the camcorder. We've all seen shots where the camera is panning to the left surveying the scene only to change direction and pan back to the right again, then no, maybe what it is looking for is down, let's zoom in for a second, darn it moved out of the shot, let's follow it putting everything out of focus, well heck, we seem to be looking at a blank wall, and with a shake of the camera, it's turned off finally, followed by a totally unrelated shot taken hours later.

You avoid hunting by following rule #2: shut the camera off when a shot falls apart. Also you avoid hunting by getting your head out from behind the camera before you start the shot and planning out what you are going to shoot. If you want really good footage, you might practice the shot a couple of times before you push the red "take" button. Does it stay in focus, is the movement too extreme, is there a bright light or window that comes and goes as you pan causing the camera to change the color and brightness of the subject, etc., etc.?

Paint your scenes with shots that move in one direction, then quit. Don't backtrack in the same shot. This applies to all three movements you control: panning, tilting, and zooming. This seems so simple and yet this indecisiveness shows up all over the place in the work of amateurs. You "hunt" before you "roll." A few seconds of planning pays big dividends.

Rule #4 builds on the two previous rules -- vary your shots. Some shots should be from a distance to establish where we are and some should be very tight so we can really see the subjects in your video. Some shots should be long and some short. Here's what to avoid: lots of mid-range shots with three or more people posing in them.

TV is an "in your face" medium -- watch it closely. It sits across the room from you. The pros cut the tops off of heads with impunity. You need to be "tight" on a lot of shots to make it interesting but you want to vary it so as not to be too invasive.

Also you need to be sensitive as to whether you are above the subjects you are shooting making them look small and dominated or you are below the subjects making them look lordly, controlling, and terrifying. If you get down on the floor with kids they look a lot more like little human beings when looking straight at the camcorder than if you are always shooting the tops of their heads.

Rule #5: let the motion come to you -- be careful how much you zoom, pan and tilt. Watch what the pros do and you'll be surprised how little zooming you see. Any pans or tilts (looking from side to side or up and down) are generally very slow. When you do see the pros chase the subject, you'll usually then see a series of stable shots to let you get your bearings again.Visit Here http://top10camcordersinfo.blogspot.com

Lens Caps

Which lens caps will fit?

On Saturday I lost the lens cap on for my Canon eos400d DSLR. I have the EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens. My friend said I can purchase the 52mm lens cap found at this site:

http://www.hyoksung.com/item.php?it_id=2113&service_id=pcdn

Is that right? Does anyone know for sure? I don't want to buy the wrong cap. Please help.

Yes, a 52mm lens cap will fit just fine.

Clip in caps fit the filter threads on the front of the lens, so the lens cap size is always the same as the filter size.

Keeping Your Rifle Scope Clean

Many of the rifle scopes that people utilize on their weapons are regarded to be extremely durable and little to no damage can affect them. But that doesn't mean that they do not call for any cleaning at all. It is essential to constantly clean your scope and the lens from the dust and dirt that it will draw from foreign elements. That way it will work great for several years.

Before you can clean it you will need to dismount it from the gun. It is linked with screws that keep it mounted and aligned properly. You will want to purchase the proper type of screwdriver that will take away these screws without stripping them or damaging them. Many gun owners will make the error of employing a screwdriver that is too large or tiny or they will employ other instruments that were not constructed for this function. This will ruin your scope for life.

There are tons of peculiar rifle scopes that are all uniquley built. That is why when trying to maintain your lens you should constantly consult your manufacturer’s guide. There are certain manufacturers that will tell you to utilise an optical cleansing wipe close to that utilised on glasses) to clean it off.

There are others that provide a proper cleaning kit full of fluids, brushes, and cloth. There are others that consider the simplest and best way to keep your lens maintained is to merely blow off the dust that covers it. Whatever method they propose there is one direction that they all share. Never are you to touch the lens glass with your open fingertip. The oils on your skin will cling to the glass and make it hard for you to remove it.

When you are not using your scope while using the gun you should to keep the lens wrapped with a special lens cap. This will serve to keep the dirt and dust from it and cut the time you require to maintain it. Because of this it is critical that the lens cap stay clean. When you are not utilizing the rifle scope dismount it from your gun and place it in a protective case or the packing that it came in. It is never a good thing to place your rifle away while the scope is still mounted even if it is aligned because it can make it to become misaligned.

So the man she thought was your best friend has really stitched you. You were there, a quiet drink, enjoying the quiet relaxation, and then pop the question. He wants to be your best man! What can you do? You can hardly say no, but you know is much more to the task of simply doing a couple of guys drunk and strip joints in a few. Let's Run through a couple of things you can do when the organization Bachelor Party / Stag Night / Bucks Party, to be sure it's a great night!

Urban Legend is that every man who marries his stag night naked complete either a) handcuffs to a light pole, or b) on a train to somewhere far, far away. In my experience, it is actually very rare, but it is his duty to organize some embarrassing moments for the groom.

Now you can hire a stripper, but cautious. Do you really know your best friend? Some people think it's great. Some kids do not. A good idea is to give the best man a set of tasks to do. You know, things like wear pants back post for a women's underwear, consult your picture taken wearing a hat fast-food employee silly, walking backwards between each bar, running on the field while ordering drinks.

The most important think is the location of your event. Not just hope you can get out of a bar at 1pm and entry into a nightclub - the majority of the guardians of a great evil eye, and groups echelon of young men trying to enter their club. Play It Smart - arrive early and go in groups of two or three. Oh, and if you are in the U.S., make sure that each has its own identity!

Many people these days to hold a stag week weekend somewhere. This can be a great idea, but is planning more. Whether you're in the U.S., and go to Las Vegas or New Orleans, or are in the UK and fly to Amsterdam or Prague, you will be surprised difficult it is to get a group of five or more boys to reach the right place at the right time, with good clothes, money, and tickets.

Sure bring a camera with you. Now, you may not want to take your $ 1,000 digital SLR in this type of event, but you can always buy a couple of disposable cameras you can buy at Wal-Mart or online for a few dollars each. You can probably find a lot of them, and to keep the marriage itself.

My Sony digital camera has a blurry image, where can I take to repair?

I bought it at Circuit City, what is the compensation cameras? What can I do?

Go to Sony's website to find the center nearest repair Sony.

Many people have asked about repairing their coverage / components in their cameras Canon PowerShot SD series, so I wrote some instructions. Please inform others if you find this article useful.

The kit of the barrier in most Canon PowerShot SD Series is a little difficult but not impossible to replace you. All you need is a little patience, a steady hand and a small screwdriver blade. We use chopsticks, that the great work!

To start, you turn the unit and expand the target, then open the lid of the battery to turn off the device and maintaining the goal. It will easily work in assembling the barrier of the target.

The first part goes to the file is the ring barrel, has a small part is buried in the lens. Some cameras do not have, so if any member of your team then the camera does not need. Ensure that turns slightly, once inserted, otherwise it is not good and jam the target.

Here are the springs and components. Put a spring in each component, there is something to keep them here. They are very small, difficult to maintain and, if you fall ... you just said does not drop on the carpet, right? We only fonts available for purchase, but please try not to lose.

Gently place the lid on the hole with the spring, bringing the post to the free end is mounted, then something with a very small tip (we use chopsticks!) Gently grasp the loop of the spring, and paste it into your message.

Do it with the flaps in open position, will remain in place if you get them established. If anything out, just start again. Try not to stretch the springs, which must remain tight for Assembly function properly.

Then gently put on the cover of the barrier, which is a plastic ring. There are tabs on the front page of the barrier, which coincide with little slits on the lens and it clicks. Be nice, do not push too hard or if it breaks and that the parties have not kept up.

It is now time to prove their skills! Put in the battery (fingers crossed) and press the button Power! Did it work? * Have you been Sproing! * And all the pieces flying in the room? Yes, I hope not, but I? I myself was why? You're not alone.

Once you get to work without problems:

Next put the dual-band facing the wall of the cover. VERY IMPORTANT: Peel the yellow ribbon of paper but do not eliminate the role of the party is trimmed to match the shape of the tape! Extraction paper tape small fold on itself and gluing. Bye bye belt!

The tabs on both the board can not be taken or the lens cover do not take the lens and the jelly. The lines of the band with a statement regarding the position of 11 and then fold the tabs and click on them to be distinguished.

Now, put your lens cap chrome or black, lined the top with the small notch at the bottom, you'll go hand in hand with ease.

Restarts the camera and admire your DIY! Congratulations, you have repaired the unit itself for $ 20 and good old man who said Geek Squad would be $ 200 and take 3-4 weeks to repair.

Hmm ... I think I see the beginning of something great here! =)
