Generally write process is prohibited in the photo recovery software therefore it does not affect the quality of the photo files and safe recovery is ensured.

It is a Pentax Optio 50 L camera.

On any camera it means card is write protected, i.e you can't take photograph. There is a small stub on the card to lock and unlock it.
