How much does the Canon EOS Rebel T2 SLR Camera film from September 2004? What is the cost in a Canon camera shop today? I am doing a research paper on different types of cameras, and I really need the answer ...

Well, Canon has stopped all film cameras, so it is very unlikely that you find in a store. Looks it has an MSRP of $ 190 when it came out. Now, the only way to find it in stores that sell used equipment or a site like eBay. Just checking eBay listings for show ended that the cameras are selling anywhere between $ 50 and $ 150.

I saw the Canon Rebel T1i prices to an extent of $ 800 dollars to $ 1200 online. This includes some online retailers, auction sites, mothers of small shops and online, pop, and everything else. This is obviously a case of buyer beware. You should read the fine print to see what you get, in terms of accessories and lenses. The biggest deciding factor in price, the glasses are usually included. There are of course other factors that influence pricing too.

Megapixels is also commonly used in sales of digital SLRs, and Pentax, Kodak and the rest the retailers know all too well. With the Canon Rebel T1i the sales department seems to have conquered the design team.

For best rating megapixels, Canon has opted to place the pixels closer, and use the pixels a bit smaller than the D90 digital SLR use. This is the best how to get extra pixels to fit on a small area. What were talking about here is basically another specification called pixel density. Not something you see brand for all the packaging T1i SLR. The density for the SLRs T1i is 4.5 megapixels per centimeter square, while the Nikon D90 12.3MP is 3.3 megapixels.

Crowded pixels is a concern, but it does not stop there. As you go hunting for additional lenses, you will soon discover, that megapixels means more money on higher prices for lentils. A high resolution, SLR is equivalent to solve a higher resolution lens, which means spending a few dollars more.

Canon has taken a decision to lodge the 18-55mm EF-S f/3.5-5.6 IS SLR with T1i and no way would it my first choice for a digital SLR camera that supports 15 1 megapixels. Canon lens that does produce better photographs for SLR T1i, including EF-S 18-200mm Canon.

Wait, there's more, as I'm not even close to cracking issues with a density of pixels high. High pixel density may be affecting the dynamic range, ISO, and diffraction. Looking more closely, it seems that our hypothesis of introduction of the Rebel T1i be best bang for the buck is a little presumptuous.

DxOMark test is widely accepted to classify the operation of image sensors in digital SLRs. DxOMark tested the Canon 50D SLR uses the same sensor that Canon Rebel T1i and supports my earlier statements that the Nikon D90 12.3MP produces superior images. I am convinced that T1i SLR will be similar trials DxOMark to the EOS 50D existing test data now available.

Getting a good Rebel T1i price, is never an easy thing, especially with the way digital technology is constantly changing. Fortunately, there are plenty of helpful websites online, that can narrow down your search and help you find the best Rebel T1i price with all the features important to you.

Or perhaps you are hiking and you see an unusual animal in the distance so you grab your camera out of your backpack and snap a quick photo. But when you go to look at the photo all you see are trees and a blur in the distance. In the first example, your lens is not wide enough and in the second example, your lens is not long enough.

The Canon L lens series has several lenses that would make all the difference in the world in both of the above cases. There would be no need to attempt to rearrange a group of people to fit them all in the picture, nor would you miss out on a close up shot of that unusual animal you spotted in the distance. A wide angle lens would easily capture the entire group of people while a telephoto lens would make the animal appear closer than it actually is. Looking through a telephoto lens is like looking through a telescope. This type of lens can also narrow down what can be seen in a scene.

A normal lens is good for taking a picture of close ups like a person from the waist up. As far as knowing what kind of wide angle Canon L lens you would need, a 28mm lens is moderately wide while a 14mm lens is great for a wide scene like a landscape. A zoom lens allows you to adjust the field of view. For the picture with all the friends or family members you would simply rotate the zoom ring on the lens until you see everyone.

The Canon L lens series is their highest quality lenses. You can easily identify them by the red stripe that goes around the barrel. This series offers very high optical quality, the lenses are very durable (most are weatherproofed) and most are very fast. You really cannot go wrong with these Canon lenses. You can easily do a comparison of features online to find the lens that will fit your needs. You will be amazed at the incredible pictures you can take with a Canon L lens.

If you are one of those digital camera users who want some of the high end features of an SLR without the big price tag this might be right for you. It is so new hardly anyone knows it is slowly coming out on the market. Got mine at a special launch on HSN. Though there have been mixed reviews as to how good it is I don't have any complaints. Like zoom capability? The Fuji S-18 has as much as anyone practically needs. My only knock is you have use a tripod when using full zoom power unless you have a steady hand. The super Macro feature is great too if you like getting things really close up. Amazing resolution overall. The 3 inch LCD is nice but like all LCDs is hampered in bright light conditions, super sunny days. Thats where the good old Standard View finder comes in handy. It is better than most and works great in all conditions, even if you have wear glasses like me. Indoors or on less sunny days the LCD is just fine. There are a lot of really great features that are easy to use and figure out even if you don't ever read the operation manual you can upload on to your computer. Good all around product if you are looking for an upgrade or even a first time buyer. At the price point it sells for you get a lot of camera for a very good price. Though it uses AA batteries, alchaline or rechargables, and they seem to last a long time. Got a great little battery from Amazon that brings your batteries back to life in almost no time at home or on the road. You don't have to worry about fidling around with your camera settings and killing your batteries befor you take a picture....like me. Check it out. Nice camera based on Fugi's S-15 with a couple of extras thrown in. Recommended!

I am an amatuer photographer. This is my second camera I own. I own the Sony Cybershot DSC-P5 which was a great camera back in the days. But the FujiFilm S1800 is far beyond the Sony Cybershot. This camera is a 12 Megapixel camera capable of shooting panorama pictures right from the camera. There are a lot of features besides this. I'm not a fan of Optical Zoom, but this camera handles it well. There are many custom settings based on the situation. Scenic, Portrait, Nightime, Sports. It also allows you to shoot continues frames as well. There are a few different options within the continuous frame mode itself. 

It also shoots 640p movies. Depending on the amount of SDHC memory you can shoot up to 30 minutes worth of video. At the largest files and resolution.

The camera has a great feature for face recognition and also blink detection. Which alerts you when the camera thinks that the person blinked. You have the option to re-shoot.

I like the fact that you can do a panormaic shot up to three panels and the camera will "stitch" the picture for you right from the camera. Many other cameras rely on you to do this with the software, but you can do it right from the camera.

The best thing is that this camera runs on regular AA alkaline batteries, or other types that size and not these batteries that are hard to find or need to be recharged. You can use AA rechargeable batteries, but if not, the good old AA Alkaline will work. My mother has a camera that she can't find batteries for because they no longer make them. I'm so happy that this camera is not like that.

The things that I thought would've been nice is a better lens cap. It comes off very easily. The other thing I wish it would do is automatically pop the "Flash" hood up for you if the lighting is not enough and the mode is set where you need light. One of the Canon pictures I use at work, actually opens the hood for the flash when it detects that there needs a flash. With the Fuji S1800 you need to press the button to open the hood.

The other issue I have is that I wish it would include at least a 2 MB SD memory card. You're very limited with the amout of pictures you can take with the Internal memory.

The software was easy to install and you can download the pictures/videos right to your computer and edit them with your favorite software.

This is a pretty good camera and I'm pretty satisified with.

Synonymous with quality and durability Nikon has carved out a large market for themselves, competing with the likes of Canon for the top-spot in the camera world. The Nikon company started out small but has grown into one of the most successful commercial camera manufacturers in the world. The company started from humble beginnings shortly after the end of World War II, launching the Nikon I in 1948. With this as their starting point Nikon continued to build on their success, quickly introducing a second camera to the market, the Nikon M, one year later in 1949. During the 1950s the brand continued to grow with the NP 1957 being released as a rival to beat the industry leading Leica 35mm from Germany. The Nikon camera quickly came to be thought of as one of the top choices amongst camera technology at the time. Since these early years Nikon has grown into a powerhouse of the camera world. Numerous technological improvements have kept Nikon cameras at the top end of the camera market. The launch of the Nikon F SLR in 1959 was a landmark in the company's history setting an industry standard for SLR design. As a result it quickly became the tool of choice for a variety of professional photographers, taking precedence over the German Leica cameras that reigned before it. By 1980 Nikon had proven themselves to be one of the best but continued to make improvements including the release of the F3 which was designed especially for astronauts on NASA space missions to use. The design was robust and easily usable by astronauts whilst they wore their restrictive space suits. It also functioned in zero gravity environments and was resistant to solar rays which posed a problem to camera technology in space previously. As a result of the success of this camera Nikon continued to design more cameras for NASA. The success of Nikon up to this time is evident, but it has continued through the 1990s to the present day. During the '90s Nikon produced more top quality SLRs that served to retain Nikon's place at the top of commercial camera equipment standings. In 1992 Nikon released the NIKONOS RS, the world's first autofocus SLR camera usable under water. This was a big step for underwater camera use, enabling photos to be taken more easily than ever in sub-aqua conditions. Nikon went on to team up with Fuji Films producing the E2 and E2S digital still cameras in 1995. In 1997 Nikon then introduced their first digital camera called the CoolPix 100. As of then Nikon has kept itself at the top of the digital camera world with a constant stream of new releases improving digital camera technology year on year. The CoolPix S50C and P4 are both excellent compacts, particularly the P4 which is a high quality 8MP product with a large view-screen on the back. The S50C is a 7.2 MP camera boasting a huge 3 inch view-screen making taking great photos easier than ever.

Question by sln239: how do you change the film in a 1978 pentax-m camera?
My grandfather has this awesome camera, a 1978 pentax- camera. I'm positive it still works, he barely used it. It hasnt been messed with in a while and every other part I've taken off the camera has been really difficult to remove, it's just old. And I have no idea what kind of film it takes and I have no idea how to get the film in there. I dont even know how to open the camera.
