I just bought a Riccar upright vacuum cleaner - the Radiance - and this is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever had. It was an expensive purchase but I think it's worth every penny and I can not fault. However, I recently met someone who bought a Riccar upright vacuum ago years and they told me they had problems after using a wet mat.
I had an Electrolux vacuum cleaner and I loved it. Faithfully cleaned my floors and carpets for over 8 years before dying of old age. At first I thought I would buy another Electrolux - I think it was the oxygen - in any case, I started reading some online reviews vacuum cleaner and I am becoming very confused. Some critics of the Electrolux vacuum cleaner are complementary while others derided. I started to consider other Marks, who was a bad idea, as I just got even more confused. Finally, I went to our local vacuum dealer and I am really glad that I made.
He was in the store that I got in the Riccar vacuum cleaner. I had never heard before, but the man in the store Riccar told me do not publish that much and vacuums are more or less sold by word of mouth. Anyway, he showed the vertical Riccar Radiance and I was amazed how powerful it was. I also have tried the Electrolux vacuum cleaner. Then it was good, I really preferred the cleaning power and ease of use of the Riccar.
In addition, the seller told me that the Riccar vacuum cleaners are built to last. He showed me the metal components of the vacuum and I could compare to Electrolux. I was surprised to see how much metal is used in the manufacture of vacuum (and how little is used in other brands). The vacuum comes with a strengthening pedal metal, a bottom plate in stainless steel, the metal rod and even a polished metal hook rope!
Other features impressed me were the lights indicating that the bag is full, when to change the filter when the brushroll jams. It is also cute with LED lights.
As expected the Radiance comes with a HEPA filter, however, the filter is further enhanced because the filter is sealed.
But perhaps the most impressive thing of Radiance is its engine, 2 to be precise. They work synchronously and called the Tandem Air System. One is a high-speed motor placed just above the head for you a big draw enormous. The other is placed above another and it provides the suction of the integrated tools and support network with high filtration efficiency.
I was using a vacuum for several weeks and it was great. I have both hardwood and carpeting. With my own old Electrolux vacuum I would have manually adjust the brushroll Riccar vacuum but is self-adjustable, which makes floor cleaning much easier. The edge tools are easy to use and Snap and easily. Overall, I am very happy with it and find it very difficult to find fault.
However, recently I was playing tennis with an acquaintance and then we started talking about vacuum cleaning - as you do - and when I told them I bought and enjoyed my Riccar they told me they had bought it a few years ago and it was a mistake and ended up being a pile of expensive junk. Apparently, they used it on carpets that have been washed and still wet. Then they let on the carpet. Anyway, one day or two later, Axel between the rear wheels rusted and that soon they could not push along. They tried to complain and get their money, but the company told them they had "abused" the void and I told them the warranty is void. I made a note never to go anywhere near water with mine.
I'm really happy with my Riccar vacuum cleaner and thought that the quality of construction, materials and the suction power makes it one of the best vacuum cleaners you can buy, although it is also one of the most expensive.
