Nikon Zoom lens options equal to 15x?

Hello again .. I opted for the camera last night as a D3000 update my Nikon Coolpix L100 which has a 15x zoom I really liked. So my question is ... Does the supplied 18-55mm be enough to match the 15x of the L100? If not, which is I need to buy to achieve 15x? 3rd party lenses are an option as well. It's raining here, so I have not had the opportunity to test the new camera .. As always, your feedback is appreciated!

Currently, there is only a 15x zoom lens for any digital SLR and lens Tamron 3rd party. The lens in question is 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 VC LD DIII. This is the first 15x digital SLR lens ever offered by any manufacturer. The 18-55mm that comes with the D3000 is "just" zoom 3X, but it will offer better image quality in focal lengths that the Tamron, because shorter distances, such as 18-55mm have fewer elements and introduce aberations less chromatic. If I were that way, I would choose to own Nikon 18-200mm VR, which has always shown a better image quality than Tamron. There is a 15x, but there is a better target.

Sony announced the launch of its latest camera Sony DSC HX1 in Las Vegas at the PMA. This will be very helpful for photographers because it has the capacity optical 20x zoom.

This 20xoptical digital camera with zoom, allowing photographers to take pictures from long distances. Additional features in the HX1 DSC include smile detection, Intelligent Auto, scene scanning technology, technology for detecting faces and Sony G. Lens.

Their Sales began in April, while its pre-sale began in the month of March itself. The camera allows the shooting scene at 224 degrees with the push a button and the sweeping motion. It is the first Sony Cyber shot camera to utilize the technology of Exmor CMOS sensors. CMOS technology allows the camera to achieve 10 frames per second and a resolution of 9.1 mega pixels in the burst mode constant.

The mechanical shutter provided with the camera helps to decrease curves while taking photos, which are in state of motion as opposed to other cameras with electronic shutters. Pictures taken in the fight against blur and twilight modes gives clear images with 50% less noise. It is the first camera to record movie clips with 1080p movie clip HD installation. Sony G lenses used for optical zoom.

Traditional cameras use CMOS sensor technology to provide high speed the shot, but the Sony DSC HX1, using the imaging system 3 which links the better image processor and sensor. Better pictures can be obtained by the camera optics, since it is supported by the BIONZ processor with Sony lens G.

So have fun with this main camera with 20x optical zoom, and you can be sure that even in low light, the image is much clearer.
