Maximum support for VGA graphics card connection?

The graphics card on my laptop [NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M] has a maximum digital display support of 1600x1200, but a max of 2048x1536 Analog support. I want to connect an external LCD monitor to my laptop. If I have a VGA port, I can have a Monitor has a native resolution of 1620x1050 or 1920x1200 and get no distortion? Supported in other words, my graphics card?
