Is it possible for a regular digital camera UV camera?
I know it's easy to convert a standard digital camera Near Infrared Chamber of removing the IR block filter and using an IR pass filter (not exposed developed film). Is it possible to do something similar, but UV rays? They are CMOS or CCD is sensitive to UV rays which can be used as a UV pass filter? I am looking for a way to do it cheaply, and with a cheap camera.
not sure what that means near infrared, but according to the arbitrator below you can use a digital SLR camera images of UV
Fireworks July 4 with a digital camera is difficult, but most of the photographers who are the most exciting shoots I've done as well Halloween and Christmas. One explanation is the fact that normal film cameras are not sensitive to infrared, while digital cameras. When sensitive to infrared light - there on the exposure of the Convention.
To avoid some problems, most photographers will agree that there are only two fundamental requirements that will make or break shooting the scene of fireworks - the exposure time and a solid platform for the camera. A a second to four seconds exposure time should be sufficient, if using ISO 100 or faster film.
Some key points in the preparation for a session of fireworks that allow photographs to be taken, without hurry or haste creation. When you arrive a little earlier, check out the location where the fireworks were set off, trying to avoid obstacles (trees or tree branches) and meteorological elements, as much wind blows smoke. Stay completely away from the street or even the city lights as they can cause lens flare in the shooting.
In flat terrain, How set the tripod in a good position takes some time, like finding the right angle and the direction that the fireworks in the sky line is important. To eliminate the possibility of shaking the camera must use a cable release. This allows you to release the shutter without touching the camera. This is very important, because we need long exposures to get the best effect of light.
Remember to set the camera in landscape mode, or the icon that resembles a mountain range. And if equipped the camera, put it in fireworks mode. And be careful with the exhibition, short exposures are not adequately capture the explosion of the fireworks artificial, whereas long exposures to produce a blur. Try opening the shutter when fireworks explode in the sky, and close when peak - usually one to four seconds.
Some of the little things to keep in the back of the mind is the precaution of carrying a flashlight. Remember that going to be dark, and you will not find enough light to set the camera controls. The batteries are also important as a backup, and do not forget cards memory. Keep a half dozen that this will not run out of space time. Do not use JPEG for images of the store. Instead, go to EPS or TIFF format. These images take up more space, but no pixel loss due to compression.
The thing to remember when shooting fireworks is to use the configuration highest quality of the camera to obtain high quality images. Using a remote release is recommended, if available. It can be difficult - and can be difficult - But it will be worth the wait.
