Is my new camera?

Dear friends, I recently ordered a new digital camera Canon PowerShot SD1000 online and I received the order to the field that the camera was not even sealed and I did not need any tape or cut everything to remove the camera. I have not yet spoken to the seller, But before I could do that, one of you who bought this camera before or has any information on this model or any other SD models, please tell me if the cameras under the seal was to come when we buy new or if it the way they usually come in?
