The costs of car repair: Have I gone too far?

I have a 99 Dodge Caravan that I purchased in August 2002. Only recently added all repairs they have done in the past six years. This is not counting routine repairs and hold (oil, tires, brake pads). It is major repairs. I discovered that I have spent over $ 6,200 in six years for the piece of garbage.
