This Nikon Coolpix camera is awesome! I’ve used it already a few times in video mode and the quality is fantastic. Shooting introductory surfing video (from a distance)was SO easy and good for a beginner. Quick shots (a feature of quick rapid action intended) still photographs was FANTASTIC! I would buy this as a gift, everyday use and beginner camera. Initial Amazon price earlier on crushed Best Buy but rebounded just prior to purchase, but still beat BB and I only went to the store for my initial hands-on research. Shipping was fast through our seller! I am totally sold on the ease of use, quality and capability of this camera. You should be too! Taking multi-use video and stills can not be easier than on this camera!

Takes pretty decent pictures. But you have to mess with the settings to get the right mode otherwise the pics will come out terrible. Videos are grainy and poor quality. But for that price what do you expect!? All I know it’s much cheaper in price than the Sony Cybershot but takes better quality pics.

I was looking aroung for this camera over the holiday sales. This was the best price I found anywhere.
