For a more professional camera you can spend more than $200; in this price range you will find 12 mega pixels, image stabilization high resolution sensors and an ultra compact body. It is even possible to find basic SLR cameras at this price range, allowing you to change out lenses. Even though SLR cameras are bulkier you are definitely moving out of the point and shoot range to the professional arena. In this price range you can also purchase ultra compact cameras.
